3. 숫자 세기(0~10) : Counting(0 ~ 10)

Hello! Today, we have prepared a post about how to count numbers in Korean.

There are two ways to count numbers in Korean: reading in Pure Korean and Sino-Korean (originating from Chinese characters, Hanja).
Pure Korean counting is mainly used to count small numbers less than 100, which are primarily used to express ‘hour’ in the concept of time, count age, or count things.
Sino-Korean counting is mainly used when reading number calculations or numbers themselves, to express the concept of date and time except for ‘hour’, and when reading large numbers of more than 100. Today we will study how to read numbers from 0 to 10 in Sino-Korean.
Shall we start?
